Blackout Blinds

Blackout blinds are particularly useful in bedrooms for anyone who may need to sleep during the daytime, for those of you with young children or even just for you if you are looking for a full and prolonged relaxing night of sleep.  Depending on which type of blind you are after whether it is a blackout roller blind, blackout roman blind, blackout vertical blind or blackout roof blind, the blackout effect is achieved in various different ways.

The fabric used for a blackout roller blind, blackout vertical blind or blackout skylight blind, will tend to have been through a three pass process giving the back of the fabric a blackout coating.  With a blackout roman blind, however, a blackout lining is used instead of the standard lining.  In both cases there can be a very small element of light seepage where the brackets are afixed to the wall or ceiling and a very tiny amount of light seepage through the stitches of a roman blind.  The most efficient product to achieve a blackout effect in a room is a Perfect Fit Blackout Roller Blind.  By nature of the Perfect Fit Blind itself, the fabric of the blind covers as much visible glass as possible.  This is the same for Blackout Roof Blinds which also are fixed to the window frame creating a full blackout scenario.
